Client traveling through Nebraska on I-80 back home to Iowa when his vehicle was stopped and searched by Nebraska State Patrol. Client had no criminal history and wanted to maintain a clean record. Search revealed a user amount of marijuana and client charged accordingly. Actions of law enforcement challenged in a motion to suppress evidence and Court found that law enforcement violated client’s 4 th Amendment rights. All evidence was suppressed and case dismissed, thus allowing client to maintain a clean record.
