Client traveling through Nebraska on his way home to New York when his vehicle was stopped and searched by the Nebraska State Patrol. Search revealed 1.4 lbs of hashish. Client charged with PWID-Hash and faced up to 20 years in jail and $25,000 fine. Able to negotiate a reduction in charges to a misdemeanor offense wherein client paid a fine only as penalty. No additional jail time or probation and client was able to return home to finish school and begin career.
