Since our interstate highways are by far the most efficient way to travel, persons engaged in the unlawful transportation of narcotics or the proceeds from the sale of those narcotics use the same interstate highways that those engaged in commercial business activity use as well.
Law enforcement will station patrol vehicle along the interstate in an effort to try to interdict or stop those persons transporting narcotics or the proceeds from the sale of those narcotics.
