Client was traveling back home to Indiana through Nebraska on Interstate 80 when her vehicle was stopped and searched by Omaha Police. Search revealed over 40 lbs of marijuana. Client is a stay at home mother of 2 teenagers. Client charged with PWID- Marijuana and was facing 20 years in prison and a $25,000.00 fine. Successfully negotiated a plea bargain wherein client did not have to serve any additional jail time or probation and was able to return home to her family.
