Client traveling through Omaha when his vehicle was stopped and searched by Omaha Police. A search of his person and vehicle revealed over 80 grams of methamphetamine and approximately $10,000.00 US currency. Client charged with PWID- Methamphetamine and due to the amount, was facing 5-50 years imprisonment. Actions of law enforcement challenged in a motion to suppress evidence and Court found that law enforcement violated client’s 4 th Amendment rights. All evidence was suppressed and case dismissed.
