Client traveling through Nebraska on I-80 when her vehicle was stopped and searched by the Nebraska State Patrol. Search revealed a user amount of hash products and client charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and facing up to 2 years in prison and a $10,000.00 fine. Able to successfully resolve case wherein charges were reduced to a misdemeanor offense with fines only. No additional jail time. Arranged case so that client only had to return to Nebraska one time for court proceedings. Client able to return home to Oregon and graduate from college without a felony conviction on her record.
