Client, an immigrant from eastern Europe, was traveling through Nebraska with a friend on I-80 when the vehicle was stopped and searched by Omaha Police. Search revealed over 3 lbs of marijuana. Client charged with PWID-Marijuana and faced up to 20 years in jail and $25,000 fine as well as possible removal from the United States if convicted. Able to convince the authorities to dismiss all charges against client, thus allowing her to stay in the U.S.
