If pulled over in Nebraska while operating a motor vehicle when your driver’s license is suspended, you would immediately be subject to arrest for driving under suspension. This would allow the officer to bypass the normal reasonable suspicion that he would need to detain you beyond the scope of the traffic stop as you would automatically be under arrest for driving under suspension, and the officer would be allowed to search your vehicle incident to that arrest.

If a lawful driver could not be found to move the vehicle from the scene, the vehicle would most likely be taken to an impound lot where an inventory search of the vehicle would be conducted to catalogue any and all items or personal belongings located in the vehicle.
